Senior Estimator

A Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible to assess all aspects of commercial construction documents and drawings in order to provide fully comprehensive estimates and tenders for clients. Key responsibilities are but not limited to, reading blueprints in order to quantify information, creating tenders for various commercial applicants, value engineering and alternate pricing for projects and keeping up to date information and knowing new products on the market. 

Junior Estimator

A junior Estimator is responsible to assess all aspects of commercial construction documents and drawings in order to assist our Estimating department. They Read blueprints in order to quantify information, generate onscreen takeoffs for projects and complete administrative duties dubject to the estimation process.

Project Manger

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, successful completion, and financial outcome of the project.  This position manages all project aspects so that the project is completed with quality and safety at the forefront, while meeting budget and schedule objectives.  They oversee contractual performance of all subcontractors to ensure compliance to scope, schedule and quality and communicate with the Architect, Owner and/or Construction Manager on all project issues, progress, budget, changes or modifications.  Prepare for, organize, and run Owner's meetings on a regularly scheduled basis

Project Coordinators

Project Coordinators are to assist the Project Manager and Site Supervisor with administrative duties. These responsibilities include but are not limited to, distributing drawings/information, design submissions, and responses to all required personnel, coordinating internal and external meetings for the Project Manager, obtaining and submitting plans and specifications to the permitting authorities, distributing permit numbers with all other appropriate documents to the client and preparing and distributing change notices, site instructions, and RFI's to sub-trades and suppliers.

Site Superintendent

This individual is responsible for overseeing all trades and effectively managing daily on site activities. They work closely with the Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on the project.  They engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and clients while successfully directing the sub-contractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget

Carpenter

Carpenters are responsible for designing, building, and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel. The key responsibilities for a Commercial Construction Carpenter are, but not limited to, the ability to determine specifications and calculate requirements, prepare layouts in conformance to building codes and installation of various products and materials. 

Labourer

It is the Labourer’s responsibility to report to and assist the Site Supervisor and Project Manager. As a labourer you will have to be able to perform manual labour as well as follow instructions rapidly and proficiently. The main responsibilities will be to load and unload construction materials, and move construction materials to various work areas, remove debris and other objects from the worksite using wheelbarrows, rakes and other equipment and help maintain a clean worksite. 

Controller

The Controller is responsible for financially managing the group of companies within Create. They communicate and respond to requests from the President, Clients, and staff, as well as act as a direct liaison with third parties such as external accountants and auditors. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to, prepare and manage company budgets and cash flow reconciliations for review and discussion with the President, managing and tracking project financials, leasing, and construction costing activities and implement processes to continuously improve project cost tracking.

Project Accountant

The Project Accountant inputs and maintains project budgets, including initial set-up in the accounting system, and subsequent changes resulting from client changes and changes in scope. The key responsibilities are, but not limited to, monitoring job costs, comparing budget to actuals, analysis and reporting of any discrepancies, accounts receivable billing, including attachments , WCB, statutory declarations,posting transactions to the general ledger, ensuring accounting transactions are recorded accurately and work with controller to collect overdue accounts, code and post incoming deposits

First Impressions Manager

The First Impressions Manager is to welcome and host visitors as the first point of contact and first impression of Create. They are the first responder to company clients; in person, through email and by the phone. The key responsibilities are, but not limited to, being an executive assistant as needed to Owners and Executive members, inputting and managing data for the company’s database, maintaining a welcoming and clean reception area, boardroom, and common areas as well as supporting all departments in administrative needs.
